Privacy Policy for AutoCloud.my, the AutoCount Integration Desk of Inpixel Marketing
This privacy policy explains how Inpixel Marketing (SSM 202003100521), which operates AutoCloud.my, handles personal data you give us by WhatsApp, phone, email or this website. We collect only what we need to answer enquiries and scope AutoCount work, never sell it, and handle it under Malaysia’s Personal Data Protection Act 2010.
What personal data does AutoCloud.my collect?
AutoCloud.my collects the personal data you choose to send, such as your name, phone number, email address, company name and details of your AutoCount setup, plus basic technical data that every web server records, such as IP address, browser type and pages requested. We do not run a login, a shop or a newsletter on this site.
| Data | Where it comes from | Why we use it | How long we keep it |
|---|---|---|---|
| Name, phone, email, company, message content | Your WhatsApp message, call or email | To reply, hold the scoping call and send a scope estimate | As long as needed to handle your enquiry, then deleted or anonymised, unless a contract or the law needs longer |
| Files you send (for example sample exports) | Your email or WhatsApp | To understand your data for scoping | Deleted when scoping ends, unless a project follows |
| Server logs (IP address, browser, pages, time, WhatsApp-link clicks) | Our web server, automatically | Security, fixing errors and counting enquiries per page | As set by our hosting provider’s log rotation |
| Analytics data (if enabled) | Google Analytics cookies | Counting visits and which pages lead to enquiries | Per the analytics retention setting |
Limits of this privacy policy
This policy covers only AutoCloud.my and the enquiries you send us. It does not cover:
- It covers AutoCloud.my and enquiries sent to us. It does not cover AutoCount’s products or websites, LHDN’s MyInvois system, WhatsApp, or inpixel.my, which have their own policies.
- If we later build a connector for you, the data inside your AutoCount book and your other systems is governed by a separate written agreement, not by this page.
- This policy is not legal advice about your own obligations under the Personal Data Protection Act 2010 [Act 709], JPDP.
How does AutoCloud.my use your personal data?
AutoCloud.my uses your personal data only to answer your enquiry, run the free 15-minute scoping call, prepare a written scope estimate and keep a record of what was discussed. We do not sell personal data, rent it, or use it for advertising lists, and we do not send marketing messages unless you ask for them.
Server logs are used to keep the site secure and to count how many enquiries each page produces. They are not combined with your enquiry details to profile you.
Who does AutoCloud.my share personal data with?
AutoCloud.my shares personal data only with the service providers needed to run the site and reply to you: our web hosting provider, our email provider, WhatsApp for messages you send there, and Google Analytics if it is enabled. Some of these providers store data outside Malaysia. We do not share enquiry details with other businesses for their own use.
If a project needs your AutoCount dealer or accountant involved, we ask you first before sharing anything with them. We disclose data to authorities only where Malaysian law requires it.
What are your rights over your personal data?
You can ask AutoCloud.my what personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct it, ask us to stop using it, or withdraw your consent at any time by emailing hello@autocloud.my. We respond to access and correction requests as the Personal Data Protection Act 2010 requires.
Withdrawing consent means we can no longer reply to your enquiry or prepare a scope estimate, but it does not affect anything already done.
How does AutoCloud.my protect personal data?
AutoCloud.my protects personal data by keeping as little as possible, serving the site over HTTPS, limiting who can see enquiry records, and never asking for passwords or API keys by WhatsApp or email. If a project needs system access, we agree a safe method in writing first, and we delete sample files when scoping ends unless a project follows.
Does AutoCloud.my use cookies?
AutoCloud.my itself sets no cookies. If Google Analytics is enabled to count visits and enquiries, it sets its own analytics cookies, which you can block in your browser settings without losing any content. The site has no advertising cookies, no social media tracking pixels and no login.
How do you contact AutoCloud.my about privacy?
Contact AutoCloud.my about privacy by emailing hello@autocloud.my with the subject “Privacy”, or by writing to Inpixel Marketing, 14, Jalan Sierra 3/9, Bandar 16 Sierra, 47120 Puchong, Selangor. Privacy requests are answered by Inpixel Marketing. If we change this policy, the date under the title changes too.
